DANIEL SIEMENS P.Eng. Owner, Structural Engineer
Urban Edge Engineering, founded in 2024 by Daniel Siemens.
With expertise in residential, custom home, and mass timber projects, Daniel will provide professional structural engineering services for your residential or commercial needs.
Daniel earned a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from BCIT. He began his career at a local engineering firm in Abbotsford, where he gained extensive experience in residential engineering design, including custom homes, duplexes, and townhomes. Notably, Daniel designed and coordinated a subdivision of duplexes and contributed to structural designs for top residential designers in the industry.
In recent years, Daniel has gained valuable experience in mass timber engineering while working with a leading innovative firm in North America. During the design phase, he worked closely with architects to bring the design to life. His expertise also includes planning and engineering structures for installation, as well as ensuring temporary stability during construction.
